The Atlanta Falcons don't have many picks going into the 2026 NFL Draft, so unless they're in the mood to trade down a couple of times they're going to need to make those selections count. A new three-round mock draft from ESPN has a good scenario for Atlanta, with the Falcons picking up two strong defensive prospects on Day 2.

To begin, Field Yates has the Falcons taking Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks at No. 48 overall.

"Atlanta's first pick is a big swing on Banks, who has top-20 talent but was limited to just 90 snaps in 2025. He recently underwent foot surgery and is expected to be shelved from full football activity until June."

Banks (6-foot-6, 326 pounds) put in two seasons at Louisville before transferring to Florida. All together he has appeared in 34 college games, racking up 6.5 sacks, 10.5 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles.

While the numbers don't exactly pop off the page, Banks' traits are what makes him a strong prospect. That includes the all-important quick interior pressure that every NFL defense needs these days. Here are the highlights.

The next time the Falcons are scheduled to be on the clock will be in Round 3 at No. 79 overall. That's where Jordan Reid has Atlanta taking Ohio State cornerback Davison Igbinosun.

"Igbinosun is a big, physical presence who will need to limit his handsy nature, but he has the potential to be an eventual starting CB2 at the next level."

Igbinosun (6-foot-2, 195 pounds) put in one year at Ole Miss then transferred to Ohio State, where he won a national championship in 2024. In 43 games with the Buckeyes Igbinosun has totaled four interceptions, 22 pass breakups and 157 total tackles. Here's a look at the best of it.

Igbinosun has experience both on the boundary and in the slot. At least to start out he would project as the top backup behind starters Mike Hughes, A.J. Terrell and Billy Bowman Jr.
