Michigan State hockey will play for a trip to the Frozen Four in the later afternoon on Saturday.
The face-off time for the Spartans' regional final matchup against Wisconsin has been announced as 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. Michigan State will look to knock off the Badgers and advance to their first Frozen Four in nearly 20 years.
Michigan State survived an upset scare from UConn in the first round on Thursday, holding on for a 2-1 win over the Huskies. Wisconsin scored four unanswered goals in the third period to runaway against Dartmouth for their first round victory.
Michigan State and Wisconsin met four times during the regular season, with the two teams splitting the games. The road team won both games in each weekend series.
This matchup between the Spartans and Badgers will be televised on ESPN2.
