SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – The Explorers hosted the Monarchs for a double feature on Sunday to finish the three-game series and won the series two games to one.
The X’s lost the first game 5-2, but won game two 5-1 to ride out the series with the best team in the Western Division on a high.
The Explorers will now go on the road to play the Gary SouthShore Railcats on Tuesday.
