While Clemson baseball has been active adding talent through the transfer portal, the Tigers have also seen several players depart the program since the end of the 2026 season.

Roster movement has become a major part of college baseball, and Clemson is no exception. As Erik Bakich and his staff work to reshape the roster for next season, a number of players have elected to continue their careers elsewhere while others remain in the portal awaiting their next opportunity.

The most notable departure is catcher Nate Savoie, who transferred to Texas A&M after spending the past two seasons with the Tigers. Clemson has also seen versatile players leave the program, including Talan Bell, who is headed to UCF, and Bryce Clavon, who committed to Penn State. Bell contributed as both a pitcher and outfielder, while Clavon saw time in the outfield and infield during his Clemson career.

Several members of the Tigers’ pitching staff have also entered the portal. Hayden Simmerson remains uncommitted, while Noah Samol has transferred to Austin Peay and Peyton Miller is set to continue his career at South Florida.

The infield has experienced turnover as well. Jason Fultz Jr. remains in the portal, while Collin Priest joined Bell at UCF. Jay Dillard also found a new home at Austin Peay after entering the transfer portal.

In total, Clemson has lost nine players to the portal so far this offseason. Some have already secured opportunities at new programs, while others continue searching for their next destination. With the transfer cycle still ongoing, additional roster movement remains possible as the Tigers continue preparing for the 2027 season.
