The 2026-27 season is going to be very tough for Browns' fans to watch what happens way out West in Los Angeles. Myles Garrett's new home, the Rams, are poised and ready for what should be another incredible season, one that should land them in the NFC Championship game and maybe even the Super Bowl.

While the Rams are having all of their success, former Cleveland Browns cornerstone, Garrett, will be at the center of it all. He is going to win close football games with a sack, a forced fumble, or an amazing tackle for loss.

He will be doing the things that he did in Cleveland for nine seasons, but his team will finally have the lead.

Ben Solak Drops 10 (Bold) Predictions Heading into the 2026 NFL Season

On Wednesday, ESPN's Ben Solak released a piece that had his bold predictions for the 2026 season. This ranged from potential trades to quarterback records to running back touchdowns to Division Winners and everything in between.

The headliner for his article, "Myles Garrett will hit 20 sacks," again.

Garrett spent his entire career in Cleveland trying to eclipse that 20-sack mark. Prior to last year, he had seven consecutive seasons under his belt of double-digit sacks. His career high was back-to-back 16.0-sack seasons in 2021 and 2022.

Then, in 2025, he went insane and notched an NFL record 23.0 sacks on the year thanks to several multi-sack games, including a five-sack performance against the Patriots. Cleveland lost that game by 19 points.

I'm going to one-up Solak's take on Garrett and say that not only will he get 20 sacks again, but he is going to get it with ease.

The ace in the bullpen for Garrett and for the Rams is the looming Aaron Donald decision. All signs are seemingly pointing to a return for Darnold to the Rams' defensive line, and if that happens, that is quite literally a cheat code.

He will be experiencing, for the first time, a game flow that will likely have his team leading for a large majority of the season. That will inherently lead to many more dropbacks and many more opportunities for Garrett to take down the quarterback.

I'm not sure if Browns fans will celebrate him or have a negative view towards him because he should have retired a Brown. Regardless, he will have a golden opportunity to continue making history in 2026, and I think that he will not have a hard time doing it.
