ESPN has officially released its Football Power Index ahead of the 2026 campaign, where the New York Giants rank 23rd.

New York enters 2026 with one of the hardest schedules in football for the second consecutive season. ESPN’s FPI is primarily based on win totals from the betting market combined with each team’s schedule. The Giants will undoubtedly face an uphill battle in 2026 despite a major reload on both sides of the ball.

ESPN gives the Giants a 0.5% chance of winning Super Bowl LX. New York also has a 9.1% chance of winning the NFC East, a 3.3% chance of making the NFC Championship Game and a 1.2% chance of making Super Bowl LX.

The Giants will kick off the 2026 campaign with a plethora of talent on both sides of the ball for the first time since 2016. They made significant upgrades through both the draft and free agency, and the Giants could quickly prove capable of outperforming their ESPN FPI ranking of 23rd this season.
