Former pound-for-pound great Errol Spence Jr. looks to recapture his past magic in the ring as he ends a three-year layoff, facing Tim Tszyu at Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia on July 25 (in the U.S.).
Spence hasn't fought since suffering his first career defeat in July 2023, when he faced Terence Crawford in an undisputed welterweight title fight. Entering the bout undefeated, with three of the division's four titles, Spence found himself on the wrong end of a one-sided beat down, in which he was dropped three times en route to a ninth-round stoppage.
Now expected to campaign at middleweight, he's looking to quickly reinsert himself into the world title picture against Tszyu, a former titlist himself.
"This fight came at the perfect moment," Spence said on PBC's Face to Face. "This was the first time I started training continuously and kept waking up every day feeling like I was ready to come back. I didn’t want a tune-up, so when Tim Tszyu got brought up, I said I’ll fight him in Australia. That’s what I do. We’ve been doing it since the amateurs. This is nothing new to me."

The four-fight card, headlined by Spence vs. Tszyu, will air on both DAZN pay-per-view and Prime Video pay-per-view. It's the first Premier Boxing Champions card to air on DAZN since a broadcast partnership between the two was announced in July.
