Manchester City remain locked in talks with Enzo Fernandez's camp ahead of Chelsea's deal deadline this evening.

The Cityzens have been working on a deal to sign the Argentina international from Chelsea, who haveset a 5pm deadline this evening for City to meet their demands.

Chelsea have set an asking price of £120m for Fernandez, and have been clear in their stance that the player will not be sold if that fee is not met today.

Enzo Maresca has made Fernandez his top target to strengthen in midfield, as City rebuild in the engine room.

The club are set to sell Tijjani Reijnders to Al Qadsiah after agreeing a £51m deal with the Saudi Pro League side, while talks remain ongoing with Barcelona over a deal for Rodri.
