So we have been told the Cardinals will not be conservative at all this week.

What kind of plays could we possible see this week that we haven't seen all season?

A reverse?

A flea flicker?

No huddle?

Johnson and Ellington in the back-field at the same time?

Any thoughts?

No huddle please and thank you. It is shocking to me that we don't use it more with all of the weapons we have on offense.

Have we played no huddle at all this year? If their pass rush is a concern, do to them what Rodgers did to us in the first half, tire them out? Or we spread them out with Dre and DJ coming out in the flats from the backfield.

BA hasn't been a big user of trick plays in the past. So expect a triple reverse throwback pass to Palmer for 17 yards :D

I think we did one flea flicker this year with CJ and it was A big play, maybe even a TD.

I dont think aggressive necessarily means trick plays or the like

I think it means attacking the field 15 yards downfield vs inside 15 yards

First half plays vs GB. Granted, some of the choices are driven by coverage, down and distance, but notice the bolded word

1st and 10 at ARI 21
(14:54 - 1st) D.Johnson right tackle to ARZ 22 for 1 yard (J.Ryan)
2nd and 9 at ARI 22
(14:13 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass incomplete short right to L.Fitzgerald

(13:09 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass short left to D.Johnson to GB 30 for 12 yards (S.Shields)
1st and 10 at GB 30
(12:30 - 1st) D.Johnson up the middle to GB 27 for 3 yards (M.Burnett)
2nd and 7 at GB 27
(11:52 - 1st) C.Palmer pass short right to L.Fitzgerald to GB 21 for 6 yards (C.Hayward)

3rd and 1 at GB 21
(11:07 - 1st) D.Johnson left end to GB 19 for 2 yards (J.Ryan)
1st and 10 at GB 19
(10:22 - 1st) C.Palmer pass incomplete short right to Jo.Brown
2nd and 10 at GB 19
(10:17 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass short left to D.Johnson pushed ob at GB 18 for 1 yard (C.Matthews)
3rd and 9 at GB 18
(9:45 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass short left to J.Nelson to GB 10 for 8 yards (S.Shields)
4th and 1 at GB 10
(9:02 - 1st) D.Johnson up the middle to GB 8 for 2 yards (C.Matthews)
1st and Goal at GB 8
(8:19 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer sacked at GB 13 for -5 yards (N.Perry). FUMBLES (N.Perry) [N.Perry], and recovers at GB 13. C.Palmer to GB 13 for no gain (B.Raji)
2nd and Goal at GB 13
(7:39 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass short right to D.Johnson to GB 8 for 5 yards (J.Ryan)

TD on next play

1st and 10 at ARI 34
(5:26 - 1st) A.Ellington right tackle to ARZ 39 for 5 yards (D.Randall)
2nd and 5 at ARI 39
(4:49 - 1st) A.Ellington up the middle to ARZ 40 for 1 yard (M.Burnett)
3rd and 4 at ARI 40
(4:09 - 1st) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass incomplete short middle to Jo.Brown (C.Hayward)

1st and 10 at ARI 20
(11:22 - 2nd) C.Palmer pass incomplete short middle to D.Johnson
2nd and 10 at ARI 20
(11:18 - 2nd) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass deep right to Jo.Brown pushed ob at ARZ 39 for 19 yards (M.Burnett)
1st and 10 at ARI 39
(10:43 - 2nd) D.Johnson up the middle to ARZ 39 for no gain (L.Guion)
2nd and 10 at ARI 39
(10:05 - 2nd) C.Palmer sacked at ARZ 31 for -8 yards (J.Peppers)
3rd and 18 at ARI 31
(9:23 - 2nd) (Shotgun) C.Palmer pass short left to Jo.Brown to ARZ 46 for 15 yards (M.Hyde; H.Clinton-Dix).

I understand that being aggressive does not necessarily mean trick plays but I do think they will "empty the playbook" and we will see things we may not have seen before all season or maybe just once or twice.

Sort of like the shovel pass in the last game...it was being practiced for 18 weeks and never used. There have to be similar plays in the there that will work.

That was such a beautiful play. Everybody pulling right and then Palmer shovels a pass to the left to Fitz who was also pulling right but behind everybody else.

I think the Cards scored on the same play against the Cowboys in the 1998 playoff game. Can't remember who Plummer shoveled it to.

I would take a good look at plays that we already know that we can put a new wrinkle on that plays to our strengths and their weaknesses.

Deep passes.

I'd respect their speed at LB which means screen plays probably won't work as well. I would stress straight ahead running hitting the hole fast and hard.

Limit juking to a minimum out of DJ and I might try Ellington and DJ in the backfield more to block than anything, leak one out for a safety valve etc.

I really think we can pass the ball on them so whatever run plays we do run I'd make sure we can play action out of that later on.

I don't think it has to be fancy just tailored to their weaknesses which is their secondary minus their one or two good corners.

2 RB set, both run a wheel route splitting the two ILBs out wide, fits crosses the middle vs a safety and breaks his tackle for a 60 yard gain

I don't know what will happen but we are a team they should fear a lot.

We have enough play makers to seriously stretch their defense out so hard it might warp. Keep em all so busy they can't see straight and keep pressure on them all game long.

Our offense is our best defensive weapon just keep a fire lit under them all game long.

I do not care what may be said in the press but I highly doubt the Carolina Panthers fear us at all, they really are that arrogant of a young team... and I think that can be to our benefit :)

That's why I said should :)

I don't doubt they don't and that's perfect. I agree with you I think if we're smart we'll get them angry and stoopid :)

As time runs out the fear will come but hopefully it'll be too late by then.
