One of the top high school football programs in California is getting a major addition in the trenches ahead of the 2026 season.

Austin Attalah, a 6-foot-7 four-star offensive tackle prospect in the 2028 recruiting cycle, has transferred from Cajon to Orange Lutheran for his junior season, according to Rivals’ Greg Biggins. Attalah is the No. 14 overall prospect and No. 2 OT in the 2028 Rivals300 Rankings.

He’s set to join an Orange Lutheran squad that’s coming off a disappointing 3-9 season in 2025. It had to forfeit a pair of games early in the campaign due to the use of an ineligible player. In March, the Lancers hired Los Alamitos’ Ray Fenton to be their new head coach.

The Lancers enter the 2026 season as the No. 7 team in California, according to the Massey Ratings. They play in one of the toughest leagues in all of high school football, the Trinity League.

Orange Lutheran’s 2026 schedule is loaded. It will begin the year against Miami Central, a top-10 team in Florida, on Aug. 21. Another early out-of-state clash against Basha (Ariz.) will also be a big challenge. Trinity League action will see the Lancers square off against St. John Bosco, Mater Dei and more.

Attalah is far from the only ranked prospect that will be on the OLU sideline this fall. Senior four-star wide receiver Nico Bland is one of the Golden State’s top pass-catchers. Senior three-star OL Lucas Rhoa will also be an imposing force alongside Attalah. There’s also an additional quartet of three-stars featured on the roster.
