Florida State hosted another group of players for visits on Tuesday. One of the visitors was 2027 blue-chip linebacker Mikahi Allen, who is a product of Ramsey, New Jersey.

This was his second visit to FSU this year after his January visit during a Junior Day weekend. He talked about how the visit went and who he spent time with.

"It was great," Allen told Noles247. "I had a good time talking to Coach Sims, Coach White, the defensive coordinator, and Coach Norvell. It was great seeing them again."

He talked about why he came back for a second trip this year.

"Just to see the type of relationship that I could build like future-wise with the coaches and then just also show them the appreciation for even inviting me to come to a practice," Allen said.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder has held an offer from FSU since May of 2025. However, he hasn't scheduled an official visit despite being on campus twice. When talking about the possibility of scheduling one, Allen says it's in the works.

"Not yet, I'm working on that," Allen said.

The linebacker position is one of extreme interest due to the room having its struggles for quite some time. New linebackers coach Ernie Sims spent time with Allen as he showed him how he approaches things, which will go a long way into how the Don Bosco Prep star evaluates his options.

Allen is the No. 213 overall recruit and the nation's No. 19 linebacker per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 4 prospect in New Jersey.

A decision from Allen is expected in July. So, the Seminoles certainly need to lock in an official visit with him soon.
