The Florida State Seminoles are set to host 2027 three-star edge Jaxon Holly for an official visit this weekend. He was also on campus in the spring for an unofficial visit.
Holly has been communicating heavily with Seminoles' edge coach Nick Williams, and he told him recently that FSU is currently leading.
"He was just seeing where I was at with schools," Holly told Noles247. "I was just telling him FSU is top two, like number one, with Virginia Tech and Auburn also in the mix."
Holly took official visits to check out the Auburn Tigers on May 29 and the Virginia Tech Hokies on June 5. FSU is getting his final official visit, and a decision is expected shortly after. So, they have a great shot to secure him at the finish line.
Not only that, but Holly mentioned that he could not only commit to FSU with a great visit, but he may shut down his recruitment.
"Yes, I could see myself shutting it down," Holly said.
Holly is the nation's No. 627 prospect in the country and the No. 53 edge according to 247Sports composite rankings. He's also listed as the No. 76 recruit in the state of Georgia.
Florida State is looking to continue its momentum in the Peach State after landing four-star wide receiver Sean Green on Tuesday.
