In each of his first two years of Hall of Fame eligibility, former quarterback Eli Manning has found himself in the top 15 finalists, but that was it. His path in 2026 may be a tough road as well.

The 2026 class was announced earlier this month, with Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri, and Roger Craig among those elected. The 2025 class was a tough one as well, with its finalists. Antonio Gates, Sterling Sharpe, among others.

Next year's first-year-eligible class will include Rob Gronkowski, Adrian Peterson, Ben Roethlisberger, and Richard Sherman. Not to mention a Bill Belichick who will more than likely be a lock after this year's debacle.

Some folks feel as if Eli Manning may not be a Hall of Fame quarterback, but the numbers tell a different story. Manning was a first-round (first overall) pick in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss. He threw for just over 57,000 yards with 366 touchdowns, but had 244 interceptions, which may put a damper on the voters. Manning was also a 2-time Super Bowl MVP, leading the New York Giants to victories over the New England Patriots.

He had at least 24 touchdown passes in 9 seasons and 30 or more in 3 seasons. It will all depend on perspective and how the voters choose to vote. Do you think Eli Manning deserves a Hall of Fame gold jacket to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio?
