Florida State is set to host one of its key edge targets in the 2028 recruiting class. Three-star prospect Nasir "Nas" Walker out of Columbia, South Carolina, will be on campus.

"I will be at Florida state June 7th!!," Walker announced on social media.

Walker is the nation's No. 560 overall recruit and the No. 57 edge per Rivals' industry rankings. He's also the No. 4 prospect in the state of South Carolina.

The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder has only been to Tallahassee once, and they came back in September of last year when FSU played the Kent State Golden Flashes. Walker would leave with a scholarship offer from the Seminoles.

Other programs throughout the southeast have extended offers to Walker as well. The North Carolina State Wolfpack, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and Virginia Tech Hokies out of the ACC have offered him. In the SEC, he has offers from the Ole Miss Rebels, Tennessee Volunteers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Kentucky Wildcats, and Vanderbilt Commodores.

Walker was a monster in his sophomore campaign at A.C. Flora High School. He registered 104 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, 41 quarterback hurries, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup.
