Now that the class of 2028 contact period is officially open, the Wisconsin Badgers can go all-in on Hendrix Dawson.
Officially, Dawson received a 247Sports crystal ball prediction to join the Badgers from Nick Osen on February 5, 2026.
Osen is 133/133 all-time in his predictions, so it's hard to imagine Dawson playing for anywhere other than Wisconsin.
Even with the contact period officially opening on June 15, Badgers fans must be patient.
Dawson currently plays for Wisconsin Dells High School and is the highest-rated recruit in the state.
At 6-foot-4, 285 pounds, it's hard not to fantasize about how dominant he could be on the team's defensive line.
Overall, he's a Top 400 recruit in the nation and is among the top 40 defensive lineman.
While he'll be attending a camp in Minnesota on June 7 and has offers from Big Ten squads such as Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, and Nebraska, Wisconsin is clearly the team to beat in this battle, and it's been that way for quite some time.
