Fresh off another visit to Madison, the Wisconsin Badgers secured their first men's basketball commitment in the class of 2027.
With all eyes focused on the football field, and rightfully so, Greg Gard has stepped up his recruiting in a big way.
Four-star guard Jalen Brown, a Wisconsin native, officially committed to the Badgers on Friday, June 5. This commitment comes shortly after his official visit, one that had Badgers247's Nick Osen confident enough to log an expert prediction he'll play collegiately in Madison. Sure enough, Osen was correct and improved to 128/128 all-time with his predictions.
Gard is getting an early jump on his class of 2027 by adding the Wauwatosa West High Schooler, who is the No. 66 overall recruit, according to Joe Tipton.
The complete guard out of Milwaukee is listed as the No. 4 player in Wisconsin, and the overall No. 11 guard in the entire class.
