Am I missing something or did the Eagles get abused? Brown is very good IMO and Gocong will be better in Mangina's 3-4 than he was under Johnson/McDermott's 4-3 ZB scheme. With that said, Cleveland's 4th and 5th are essentially 3rd and 4ths, so maybe I'm wrong??

I am 99% sure a deal like that would never happen. Not becuase of the players involved dont make sense but Asomugah is virtually untradeable.

I think this was a complete fleecing of the Eagles. Brown was there best CB last year and I think they have way to much faith in Joselio Hanson. Brown had 3 years left on his deal and was whining about it. I think the Eagles are going to far with their cut'em and replace'em methodology. No but I do think McNabb defintely gets moved now. You don't trade 2 starters for a STer and some mid-round picks when you have a 35 year old QB a year away from being a FA and are trying to have a last shot at a title with him. It sounds more like something a team would do as they are trying to build around a young QB.

Agreed. Philly has been getting much younger over the past few years, and McNabb represents the old guard. Not saying that he's gone before September, but it does speak to where that team is heading.

I can't see them going CB now that they have McDonald, Wright, and now Brown. I could see them taking Bulaga for the RT spot, thats what my money's on.
