Drew Titsworth did not have to wait much longer after Ariston Veasey came off the board.

The Clemson junior right-handed pitcher was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 11th round of the 2026 MLB Draft, going 339th overall. Clemson baseball announced the pick Sunday, congratulating Titsworth as another Tiger arm earned a professional opportunity.

It came just two picks after Veasey was selected by the Chicago Cubs at 337th overall, giving Clemson two right-handed pitchers taken within a short stretch of the 11th round. That is a pretty cool draft moment for the Tigers.

Across three seasons, Titsworth went 13-4 with two saves and a 4.34 ERA over 54 appearances, including 12 starts. He struck out 119 batters in 110 innings, giving Clemson value in multiple roles as both a reliever and a starter.

His 2026 season showed that versatility again. The Michigan born talent made 15 appearances, including five starts, finishing 4-3 with 43 strikeouts over 35.1 innings. He was at his best out of the bullpen, going 4-0 with a 3.31 ERA over 10 relief appearances while holding opponents to a .172 batting average.
