If the Ravens and the Jets loss we get the 27th pick.

If the Ravens and the Jets win we get the 25th pick.

If one of Ravens or the Jets win we get the 26th pick.

Watching the Colts and Ravens game it looks like we wont be getting the 25th pick.

Crap...I thought the draft order stayed the same except for the Super Bowl teams...?

We are in prime territory for a team that may want to trade up into the bottom of the first round for a targeted player. Of course, Graves hardly ever trades down. :(

Ravens just got smacked by the Colts and I don't see the Jets pulling off the improbable in San Diego so it looks like we are getting #27

I'm praying Sergio Kindle falls that far.

It will either be a OLB (pass rusher) or one of the Left Tackles. I know many people think it would be stupid to draft an OT, but this is a deep class and if Warner leaves we are going to have to be able to run the ball and control the line of scrimmage. That said, I would prefer every single pick aside from an OT be on the defensive side of the ball.

The only possibly stupid pick there would be a WR, otherwise whatever the best player available is we should just go that route.

The first round you should really really really go best on the board IMO.

If that's a left tackle that's fine, heck if it's a safety it's fine, probably wouldn't draft a kicker or punter even so but otherwise BPA.

Agree. Other than WR,QB, G, and possibly RB, any other position player who is the 'best player available' should be the selection. Don't reach for a player with a 2nd round grade to fill a need. We could use help and competition at plenty of positions.

We will be lucky to get a 2nd for Boldin. He is so injury prone anymore that whoever wants him figures to get 12, maybe 13 games out of him at best. I would not be surprised if the best we can get is a 3rd.

What you also have to remember is Warner makes the WRs look better than they may really be and this is such a pass oriented offense.

For all the talk about needing an OLB or a OT in the first round I think we really need a cover safety early. Neither Rolle nor Wilson can fill this position. We have two strong safeties playing now.

I think Toler will displace McFadden next year unless Whiz continues with the experience over a better player. I think McFadden would make a good nickel back. He might even be the cover safety we need.

If the Cards were by some strange craziness, able to land McClain I would really try to do backflips.

If a crazy thing like McLain falling happens, I wouldn't be surprised if a just as crazy thing of you landing a backflip could happen. So I say you try it and take video of it.
