They call them the Leopards.

And the Democratic Republic of the Congo's national football team didn't disappoint upon their arrival for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Their outfits were, well, leopard-like.

They also had awesome leopard pins.

It's a special moment for their entire nation, and the DR Congo squad made sure to show out.

The hope will be, of course, that they can do the same thing on the pitch.

When does DR Congo play at the World Cup?​


The first World Cup match for DR Congo is a high-profile one -- they'll take on Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday, June 17.

They'll follow that up with group games against Colombia (June 23) and Uzbekistan (June 27).

Both Portugal and Colombia are majorly difficult opponents. DR Congo is going to likely have to find a shock result against one of them to advance to the knockout stages.

They'll certainly have plenty of fans of their fashion rooting for them.
