I am the opposite - I can only take Wolf if very small doses. His act gets old quick, and he says the same phrases over and over and over and over and over and over again, my brothas!

Yeah and on top of that he repeats them. A little of Wolf goes a long way. I can take him in very short doses and that's it. If there were a country bumpkin version of the word "bombastic", I'd know exactly how to characterize the man.

Wolf was explaining how the Raiders are a brand. Doug said younger people don't think so. Doug took to twitter to prove his point. Wolf said he didn't care about twitter. Doug said it was over Wolf's head. Wolf told Doug to shut up. Doug said Wolf wasnt man enough to tell him to shut up. That's when you heard the microphone get shoved and Wolf asking Doug if he wanted to go. Doug said he could punch him in the face if it made him feel better. Then a long akward silence. Doug said they would be back to talk about Burfict. . Then they went to a commercial.

I turned off my car right when Doug said it was over Wolf's head. Dang I just missed the good stuff.

Wolfley was known for his fearless special teams play that allowed him to compete in four straight Pro Bowls, 1986 through 1989. Just sayin'

Only because back then every team had to be represented. He really was not a Pro Bowl caliber player. Shows you how bad the Cards were back then doesn't it?

He's an even worse talk show host. Although, Doug is far, far more annoying than Wolf. Doug, Burns and Calavisi (sp?) are all the same dude I think. They all are annoying as hell.

When he said the conversation "is over his head" that is when Doug is out of line.

I listen to these guys, but mainly for Wolfs perspective, especially football related. I cant stand Doug, or Burns, or Bickley. They've never played the game so I have no respect for their commentary. I do enjoy Gambo and also Marotta because they seem knowledgable plus they crack me up. Im hoping Bick will be replaced with Chuck powell. Marotta and Powell are hilarious together.

Ya that's exactly when it started. Doug has been doing this nonsense for awhile too.

IMO Doug was right. They were talking about under the age of 35 and the brand respect for Oakland....Wolf tried to steer it to the overall brand image.

The 'over your head' comment was a little rough...but they were both in the wrong. You could hear Wolf's voice crack....was sad and angry...

Reality is when you spend as much time as they do together fights are going to happen. I hope the station doesn't get to bent over it. I'm sure they'll have to have a meeting with the higher ups.

The good news is no one did anything dumb....there were a few spots where the button to block what was said was pushed...but nothing fireable went over the air.

I see a lot of you like Wolf....to be honest I like Doug better...but that's one man's opinion

I heard Chuck on the radio a few months ago and it didn't sound like he had any interest in hosting a show again. Seems like he wants to work on writing and maybe some comedy or something, but not sports.

Played football, and rugby.

Wolfley is hamming it up if you ask me.

Thanks for finding that. Good stuff.

The first comment told me all I needed to know. LOL.

It's tough to choose sides here. On one hand, we've got an overblown fartbag vomit machine passing himself off as a rational voice in sports, but on the other hand I have a flathead screwdriver jammed in my ear canal.

Wolf is absolutely horrible. After about 10 minutes he says one of his overused catch phrases and I want to scream at the radio over his go to "when I played the game". Holy crap....how long have you been on the radio? We know you freaking played. Shut up.

Horrible show. Doug is way less irritating and deserves a better partner.

Wolf sounds like he has CTE half the time. Rambling, nonsensical, improper use of grammar.

Plus, I am tired of his little motivational speeches about driving an opponent into the ground with malice...metaphorically speaking. So played out.

I am also tired of his player's perspective, like the only thing that matters is a "well met handshake". No, it isn't.

But I realized something when I listened to part of the game on Sunday. Most the points he makes during the week are recycled during the game...usually word-for-word. It's almost like he treats the morning show as a dry run for his material, which admittedly, works a lot better on game day.

Doug is lame. Beyond breaking down college basketball, he is almost useless. I really wish they'd jam these two into the 2 hour slot currently occupied by Cowherd (since you can also hear him on 620), and give us a better duo for the morning drive.

There were multiple Cards in the Pro Bowl every year he made it, 86- Wolf and Sikahema, 87-Lomax, Sharpe, Wolf, 88- Sharpe, Sikahema, Wolf and 89- Camarillo, McDonald, Sharpe and Wold. He wasnt a token selection, dosnt make him less of a blow hard, but he was a good at what he was asked to do on the field.

So you don't respect anyone's opinion if they didn't play the game? That's just dumb.

I can't stand Doug. Every day he's making sly cheap shots toward Wolf and today he finally pushed him over the edge.

"This conversation is over your head and I apologize. I didn't mean to expose that".. Such a bitch move, and then he calls Wolf unprofessional when he says to shut up? What's unprofessional is the daily cheap shots, and always intentionally trying to make Wolf look bad. If Wolf was off the show, absolutely nobody would tune in to hear Doug's whiney voice talk about sports. He needs to learn his place and back off.

I could almost understand that point of view if those that had played the game didn't argue and disagree on just about every point.

These are just not the type of guys to carry a show for 4 hours a day. Doug is an ass who thinks he is smarter and funnier than he is. Wolfs schtick does get tiring but I would get agitated too with the cheap shots Doug keeps taking.
