The Miami Dolphins scratched a big task off of their to-do list this week, as they agreed to a three-year extension with center Aaron Brewer that will pay him $52.5 million and includes $37 million guaranteed.
On Thursday, Brewer went to sign the deal, and he pulled off an incredible move, bringing along three of the other projected starters on the offensive line, including Patrick Paul, Kadyn Proctor and Jonah Savaiinaea.
The only starting offensive lineman not in the room for the signing was right tackle Austin Jackson, who has been recovering from toe surgery that he went through earlier this offseason.
This group of big guys on the line seems to be pretty tight-knit. Hopefully that will lead to success, as they look to protect quarterback Malik Willis and provide lanes for running back De'Von Achane, who signed an extension of his own last month.
