While the Miami Dolphins moved on from several impact players this offseason, general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley identified a trio of players that they wanted to extend this offseason to keep them around for the foreseeable future.
After inking running back De'Von Achane to a new deal last month, the Dolphins got another done on Wednesday, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that they've agreed to a three-year, $52.5 million extension with center Aaron Brewer. The deal includes $37 million guaranteed.
Brewer, 28, played collegiately at Texas State from 2016-19, earning All-Sun Belt twice before signing with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. After four years with the Titans, he joined the Dolphins on a three-year, $21 million contract in 2024.
Over the last two years, Brewer has played 99% of the team's snaps in 33 of 34 possible games, and this past year, he earned All-Pro honors for the first time in his career. This deal makes him one of the highest-paid centers in the league and makes him a building block for Miami's future.
