After selecting Quinn Ewers in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins have some interesting decisions to make over the next few months.

There could be a scenario where the team holds three quarterbacks on their 53-man roster, especially with the injuries that Tua Tagovailoa has dealt with.

Still, with Zach Wilson signed to a deal, there likely isn't a scenario where Ewers will see much playing time, unless both of them go down.

Unfortunately, the Dolphins know better than anyone that they’ll likely have to deal with injuries at the quarterback position. Whether that means Ewers will be the guy who gets a few reps here and there remains to be seen, but it can't be counted out.

The Dolphins had other needs in the seventh round, but drafting a player who threw for 3,472 yards and 31 touchdowns in the SEC at Texas last season wasn't the worst option for this organization.
