The Los Angeles Dodgers have lost four games in a row, their latest coming against the San Francisco Giants, losing 6-2 at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers had only four hits against the Giants, who rolled out pitcher Adrian Houser as the starter, whom Los Angeles has feasted on.
Entering the game, he had a 12.34 ERA when facing the team over 11.2 innings. He allowed 17 hits, 16 earned runs, one home run, and eight walks with a 0-3 record.
He finished with three hits allowed, three walks, four strikeouts, and just two runs charged against him.

It was not all bad for the Dodgers. Shohei Ohtani hit his first home run since April 27, ending a long drought. He finished 2-for-4 with an RBI, a walk, and a strikeout in his last time hitting until Friday.
The Dodgers are giving Ohtani an off-day on Wednesday and Thursday, hoping to let him figure things out amid his slump.
While Tuesday was a step in the right direction, the Dodgers will likely still give Ohtani time and space to reset himself at the plate.
Other than Ohtani, the only two Dodgers to get a hit were Freeman and Tucker, who got one each, along with three walks among them.
With runners in scoring position, the Dodgers went 0-for-3 and left eight hitters on base.
The Dodgers’ pitching failed to lift the lineup
The Dodgers’ pitching was not much better overall. Yamamoto, on a day when he needed to be nearly perfect, had one too many mistakes, giving up three solo home runs.
His work was good otherwise, and he looks to be getting sharper, but his three home runs allowed were already too much for an offense going through a rough time.
Blake Treinen came into the game after Yamamoto with a runner on first and third with one out, and he allowed two hits that blew the game wide open.
The Dodgers managed to work the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, but, as has been the case for most of the season, the offense failed to capitalize.
When do the Dodgers play again?
Los Angeles plays again on Wednesday, May 13, against the San Francisco Giants, this time rolling out Shohei Ohtani on the mound, and Dalton Rushing will replace him in the order, hopefully injecting some life into the lineup.
