The Los Angeles Dodgers finally got some hits, including one from Mookie Betts, but still fell 9-3 to the San Francisco Giants Monday night.
The Dodgers (24-17) lost the first of a four-game series with the Giants (17-24) at Dodger Stadium despite having four players with multiple hits.
One of those players was Max Muncy, who homered for the second straight day.
Muncy’s homer tied the game at 3-3 in the sixth inning, though the lead didn’t last long.
In the top of the seventh, the Dodgers bullpen turned to Alex Vesia, who walked in a bases-loaded run with one out, then Will Klein, who gave up a two-RBI single to Willy Adames.
The Giants piled on three more runs in the ninth.

How did Shohei Ohtani play against the Giants?
Shohei Ohtani, though, wasn’t among those with multiple hits. He didn’t even have one.
Ohtani was 0-for-4 with a strikeout, continuing his puzzling slump.
The Roki rollercoaster continues
To even get to the 3-3 tie required the Dodgers to overcome a two-run sixth inning after an otherwise strong outing from Roki Sasaki.
He also showed moments of excellence, continuing his trend of uneven performances thus far this season.
A sixth inning to forget for Roki Sasaki.
He gave up three hits that resulted in two runs to lose the lead.
