Glasnow has been sidelined since May 8, 2026, with his stint on the injured list made retroactive to May 6 after he exited a start against the Houston Astros because of back spasms.
Now, after nearly three months away from game action, he’ll begin the next phase of his recovery with a rehab assignment just one day after the trade deadline.
If everything goes according to plan, the Dodgers could soon welcome back one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball.
Before the injury, Glasnow was outstanding, compiling a 3-0 record, 2.72 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 49 strikeouts over 39.2 innings. Those numbers serve as a reminder of just how valuable he can be when healthy.
