Saturday evening’s Divisional Round matchup between the Seahawks and 49ers will be the third time these teams have met this season. San Francisco won the season opener 17-13, but Seattle came away with a 13-3 victory and the NFC West division crown in Week 18.

The big news surrounding Saturday’s action is the status of Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold, who has reportedly not thrown a football since injuring his oblique Thursday. Beyond that, the 49ers will be short-handed, with TE George Kittle out and the continued absences of key defenders EDGE Nick Bosa and LB Fred Warner.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

If looking for a fun way to sweat Saturday’s action, I have put together a three-leg same game parlay (+525) for this evening’s game. As always, it is worth noting that straight wagers are a far more profitable long-term betting strategy than parlays. Still, parlays can be a fun way to get some extra action on a game to make things interesting!

San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks Same Game Parlay

Leg 1: Seattle Seahawks -7

-105

From beginning to end, Seattle dominated San Francisco when these two teams met in Week 18. The Seahawks finished that game with a +14.3% net success rate — their second-best margin in any regular season game.

The 49ers showed up well against the Eagles in the Wild Card Round, but the Eagles finished Week 17 with a -10.3% net success rate against the Bills, a -1.1% against the Bears in Week 13, a -7.9% against the Broncos in Week 5 and a -6.9% against the Rams in Week 3. Simply, Philadelphia was overwhelmed by every good team they played in 2025.

Brock Purdy and company have overcome a lot of injuries to get to this point. Unfortunately for them, their Cinderella run likely ends this evening – and it might get ugly.

Leg 2: Over 43.5

-124

When these two teams met in Week 18, both the 49ers and Seahawks were missing their starting left tackle. San Francisco was also missing WR Ricky Pearsall, and their defense surprisingly played a lot of two-high shells in the first half, which allowed Seattle plenty of room to run on the ground. All of that added up to a low-scoring affair.

The rematch could look much different. San Francisco’s defense will likely be more aggressive near the line of scrimmage, especially with Sam Darnold’s injury concerns. They could force Seattle to beat them through the air early — something that Darnold is more than capable of exploiting.

It would be wise to expect a better offensive effort from the 49ers this time around, too — if for no other reason than familiarity. It’s always easier for teams to make adjustments when they play poorly than when they play well.

We should see a healthy number of points in this Divisional Round matchup.

Leg 3: Sam Darnold 250+ Passing Yards

+188

Sam Darnold allegedly hasn’t thrown a football since he hurt his oblique Thursday, per Adam Schefter. HC Mike Macdonald has been non-committal about whether Darnold will be able to play, and if there will be any limitations for him if he is able to suit up.

The reality is that the Seahawks aren’t going to put a quarterback on the field in a playoff game if he’s unable to effectively run the team’s offense. This is a plus-matchup for Darnold against a San Francisco secondary unit that bleeds big plays, and a 49ers pass rush that struggles to make opposing quarterbacks uncomfortable.

NFL teams have plenty of medicinal options at their disposal to help Darnold get through a few hours of football. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him have a perfectly fine performance.
