Obviously they killed us but at least 3 times on short yardage where a huge QB being pushed on a sneak is tough to stop, we either ran a RB or a WR and got stuffed. Were they afraid to sneak JB because they didn't trust the backup or did they literally not think we could get a yard on a QB sneak?

Third and short earlier in the game and they ran Bam straight up the middle for negative yardage. Play never had a chance. Horrible call.

The Seahawks interior DL is their strength. I think we did not trust the offense to get a yard on Byron Murphy on a play where everyone knows exactly whats coming. We've all seen our QB sneak get stuffed by worse defenses. At least with a normal play there's some hesitation and maybe the guard/RB can make something happen.

BTW the Seahawks are sun running injury luck this year, they haven't lost anyone important. Its their year so far.

I know Seattles defense is great but 235 pound QB, put a TE in behind him and push him over to me has a much better chance of working than the plays we ran.

I just feel like maybe they were thinking if JB gets his bell rung on a sneak we have to play Slovis and it took away a weapon that's actually worked well for JB this year

I think we can agree, no matter who is the quarterback... the offensive line is a major problem.

More evidence that Klayton Adams was the most important coach on the staff.

man... when you bring back the exact same guys on the line, and 4 of 5 to start the season and the wheels just totally come off simply from losing a position coach, that tells me the first two years success were built on a total house of cards. Just losing a position coach shouldn't derail an entire offense the way it has. Or at least it wouldn't for good teams, with good talent.

Adams was able to get more from less. That is evident. His ability to call a run game and make in game adjustments is missed. Petzing just has zero clue how tricky some blocking schemes are to execute. He just doesn't get it and it shows. It terms on Coach Frye...idk man. It's tough to believe that an absolute zero was an OL coach at OSU but these guys are not performing under him either.

When Gannon gets fired (in 2027), it's going to be his unwillingness to adjust and bring in NFL experienced coaches to help him out. Same for Monti. How he hasn't made the Callahan's an offer they can't refuse to come in and consult on the offense and OL is shocking. Maybe he has and they declined but there is the match you need for the offense (even if just temporarily).
