Was hoping the Giants would have snagged him for center.

If they don't re-sign AJ, and leave CF to this bum, I won't be happy.

This signing was happening regardless of Martinez. It makes a ton of sense too as they are going to a humidor so you will need speed on the bases and will need to manufacturer more runs.

I really love it if he is a 4th outfielder / defensive replacement

I know he is a Boras client but ARZ should go after CarGo. He could have a bounce back year playing 81 games at Chase. Melky Cabrera is out there but he won't be cheap. ARZ may have to settle for a Colby Rasmus.

5.7 war the last two years compared to JD having 6.0 and basically an entire seasons worth of at bats.

This is a great signing and DBacks fans will love watching this guy the next two years

MLB Network projects him as a starter along with Pollock and Peralta. One of the fastest players in MLB.

I was also reading he would be the 4th - upgrade from the Gregor Blanco role.

With that I am ok. Not as an AJ Pollock replacement.

I REALLY hope the Dbacks find a way to secure a bigger bat to replace JD...I have ZERO, as in NO faith in Tomas...which means Goldy is going to see crap pitches all year long... :bang:

Maybe you could do an anti-curse and seek out Tomas (maybe get @Chris_Sanders to drive you to chase him down) and ask to shake his hand. Couldn't hurt.
