DeWanna Bonner leaves Mercury for Sun in sign-and-trade

The Sun sent the Mercury three first-round picks; the Nos. 7 and 10 picks in the 2020 WNBA Draft, which is April 17, and a first-rounder in 2021. Phoenix also has its own draft pick, which is fifth overall.

I'm going to miss DB, my personal favorite Mercury. All the different roles she's covered for the team.

Most consistent scorer whenever Taurasi was out. Clutch player covering any of three positions. Top rebounder.

But she is 32 and the Mercury will have the 5th, 7th and 10th picks in the draft. Rebuilding is slowly beginning.

Now I won't feel quite as bad when I look at the stars in the top right corner of this board and don't see DeWanna.
