Whoever anyone thinks is the greatest Suns player, I think we can all agree that Sarver was the worst guy (meaning owner, player, coach, front office person, ballboy, vendor, janitor, or anything else) in Suns history... and it's not even close.

Yeah, but I don't think Sarver would have approved the trade for Durant so that's something.

In case anyone else is completely confused like I was. The title is "Most points in first NBA playoff run".

On my screen it only says "NBA playoff run", so I was pretty confused lol.

I thought about it until I didn't think it was worth thinking about it. :)

Marion is the most underrated in franchise history, and among the most underrated in league history.

I cannot imagine how appreciated he'd be and how much he'd thrive in the modern NBA.

I honestly can't think of a comparison... Aaron Gordon... only more athletic, much better on the glass and an even better defender?
I went and watched the Suns play the Hornets back in the day. Marion stood out looked bigger in person ran like Bridges for NY. That team was good Nash, Amari and Marion

I think the greatest player has yet to play for the Suns. Could that be Booker? He's still playing, so possible. Whoever guides us to that first NBA Championship will be the greatest ever.

Nash is the greatest player in Suns History.... period. The most dominant in his prime was Amare
The most dominant in his prime was Barkley. He was the MVP in a year while Jordan was in his prime, could do everything Amare could offensively, was a much better rebounder and a vastly superior passer. And he was THE straw the stirred the drink for those Suns teams. Nash was that guy for the Amare teams.

He was but we never really got to see a healthy Amare at his peak. CB is one of the top 10 all time greats so it would have been a tough hill for Stat to climb but I think a healthy Amare would have joined Chuck in the top 20 at least.

If Amare never has knee problems I think there were scoring titles in his future given his fit with Nash and the offense. His arc after the 05’ playoffs was as high as any 22 year old not named Lebron at that time.

I’ll make no argument there. Amare was a true unicorn who was only scratching the surface of what could have been. He was on his way to being an all-time great.

I never liked the way the Suns dumped their stars whether it be Barkley, Nash or Amare. At least the Suns treated Kevin Johnson with respect.

This is one of the reasons I want the Suns to treat Devin Booker with the respect he deserves.

When your stars want out, what do you do in a "player's league"?

Nash, Amare and Barkley didn't want out? I'm confused, I really thought all three chose to be traded.
I'm confused why you think that. :) Nash only did it to benefit the Suns (he hated the Lakers) and because it would work for his family. Amare didn't want to be traded but the Suns (Sarver) wouldn't pay him due to his knee issue (Sarver opted to pay Turkey glue (can't remember how to spell his name) and Warrick instead. And Barkley just had his feelings hurt that he was on the trading table:

Later Regret
Despite forcing his way out of Phoenix, Barkley has since admitted that he did not actually want his time with the Suns to end. In later interviews, he revealed that he had been caught completely off guard by the trade and that his true intention was to finish his career in Phoenix. [1, 2, 3]

There is almost another story line after players are pushed out the door, kind of like making lemonade out of lemons.

You are right, if players really want out, they are usually traded.

Now I'm waiting to see what happens with Giannis.
