From start to finish, Sunday was a tough one for former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

His NFL debut with the Cleveland Browns didn't go according to plan, with the former Buff completing 4-of-16 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown in relief of Dillon Gabriel, who left with a concussion. After that, Sanders got home to find that his house had been broken into while he was away.

According to a report from ESPN, approximately $200,000 in property was stolen from the residence. According to a news release from the Medina County Sheriff's Office, three suspects wearing masks and gloves were in Sanders' house for about 12 minutes, rounding up belongings before exiting.

The incident, first reported by Pro Football Talk, adds Sanders to a growing list of athletes, mainly NFL players, whose homes have been burglarized while they are playing in a game. Recent examples include Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Cameron Jordan.

Sanders is now tasked with regrouping quickly as his first career NFL start looks to be coming up this weekend against the Las Vegas Raiders, with Browns' starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel still in concussion protocol.
