The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams Sunday night in the NFC Championship, 31-27. With that victory, some more former Auburn Tigers are headed to Super Bowl 60.

Former Auburn Tiger Derick Hall recorded one tackle in the game against the Rams. This post-season, he recorded three tackles, and on the season, he finished with 30 tackles, three for loss, with two sacks. This is Hall's third year in the league with Seattle.

He was drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft in the second round by the Seahawks at No. 37 overall. Since then, the Seahawks have drafted more players from Auburn. In 2024, Seattle took cornerbacks Nehemiah Pritchett in the fifth round.

The Seattle defense had a tall task in shutting down veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay's offense. A crucial play in deciding the game came down to a fourth-and-goal from the Rams' six-yard line with under five minutes to play. Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon broke up Stafford's pass in the end zone.

Hall and Pritchett will see former Auburn Tiger cornerback Carlton Davis with the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on Feb. 8. The Tigers have been represented by multiple players in this year's conference championship, with players like quarterback Jarrett Stidham starting for the Denver Broncos.

This will be the fourth Super Bowl appearance for the Seattle Seahawks and the 12th for the New England Patriots. The big game will take place Sunday, Feb. 8, at 5:30 p.m. CST and will be broadcast on NBC.
