At least one former Auburn Tiger will win a Super Bowl ring this season, as the program has at least one representative on both the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.
One of those representatives is former Auburn cornerback Carlton Davis, who is having a stellar season in the Patriots' defensive backfield. Davis logged a career-high 69 tackles in the regular season and has produced quality numbers in three NFL playoff games so far. In the AFC Divisional Round, he picked off Texans quarterback CJ Stroud twice in the Patriots' 28-16 win. Davis also led the Patriots in tackles with 7 in the AFC Championship Game, which the Patriots won 10-7 over the Broncos.
Davis is aiming to win his second Super Bowl this season. He was a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Super Bowl 55 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in 2021, a game that was played in front of a reduced crowd due to COVID-19 protocols. If the Patriots win, Davis will earn a ring by defeating the Seattle Seahawks and former Auburn teammates Derick Hall and Nehemiah Pritchett.
Super Bowl 60 is set for Sunday, Feb. 8 at 5:40 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on NBC. Take a look at Carlton Davis' player profile ahead of Super Bowl 60.
