LONDON, ENGLAND - APRIL 03: Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder face off as they weigh in ahead of their heavy weight fight during the Dereck Chisora v Deontay Wilder: 100 weigh-in at York Hall on April 03, 2026 in London, England. (Photo by Richard Pelham/Getty Images) | Getty Images
Deontay Wilder and Derek Chisora will fight today in a heavyweight showdown hyped as Chisora’s retirement bout, but could potentially see two careers end. Or none. It’s boxing.
Both the 40-year-old Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KO) and 42-year-old Chisora (36-13, 23 KO) will be fighting for their 50th time as professionals, Chisora turning pro in 2007 and Wilder in 2008. Former titleholder Wilder has actually looked the more questionable in recent outings, though Chisora is certainly past his best days, too. But both bring some lingering star power and main event charisma to the matchup, and the biggest question seems to be whether or not Wilder can actually unleash his once-feared right hand.
The undercard will feature a cruiserweight fight for the European title between Viddal Riley and defending champion Matuesz Masternak, plus more!
