They do not think Lawler has it. WOW!
He might get moved to LF for now w/ Lordes' injury, but Lawler has done absolutely nothing to convince me that he's more than a below average players

I'd like to see him get some consistent ABs to see. He has not shown anything, but he has 96 career ABs over three years. Hopefully he can get ABs over Blaze.

Arenado is past his expiration date and has been going downhill in St. Louis for some time. They've been trying to trade him even longer than the DBacks were trying to trade Marte. His glove is still OK at his age but his bat is not exactly "prime time".

He's probably equal or slightly better than Longoria...and that's just fine for now. I'd be more interested in what he brings to the table as a veteran leader.

$11 mil over two seasons is a fair deal for where he is in his career. Not mad at it. Hope that a change in scenery in a more hitter friendly park would get him to a above average state
