Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman and college football All-American David Pollack revealed one Georgia freshman he thinks will start right away in 2026. Pollack thinks offensive lineman Zykie Helton will start from Game 1 on his podcast, "See Ball Get Ball."
"(Zykie) Helton, to me, on the offensive line, the freshman is going to come in and start immediately and make a name for himself up front and be an absolute animal," Pollack said.
Helton was ranked as a three-star recruit by Rivals and a four-star recruit by 247Sports. Helton will look to join last season's true freshmen offensive linemen Juan Gaston and Dontrell Glover in making an instant impact in his first year in Athens.
Helton drew rave reviews during spring practice. The freshman has the size and talent to start right away. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound interior offensive lineman would most likely start at the guard position opposite of Dontrell Glover. Helton started in Georgia's spring game and at the very least will help improve Georgia's depth up front. However, Pollack is quite confident that Helton will start.
