The upcoming college football season is approaching quickly. Teams are currently on a break as their athletes wrap up their school semester before summer practices begin.

Although the season hasn't started yet, college football analysts are already discussing what they are looking forward to the most and highlighting some teams to watch. One team that many analysts are optimistic about is the Clemson Tigers.

A significant reason for this optimism is the return of quarterback Cade Klubnik, who threw for 3,639 yards, accomplished 36 touchdowns and had six interceptions, in addition to rushing for 463 yards and seven touchdowns.

On his podcast, "See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack," the former "College GameDay" analyst expressed his high hopes for Clemson this season.

"I don't have questions about Clemson's roster," Pollack said. "We can go to the defensive line, where I think they'll have two guys drafted in the first round next year. A quarterback drafted in the first round. At least three wide receivers that will drafted and play on Sundays...I'm all in. I'm taking my poker chip and I'm putting it all in. The Tigers have exactly what they had when they won championships with Dabo Swinney."

Pollack noted that the Tigers' current situation is reminiscent of their successful seasons in 2016 and 2018, when they had standout quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence, along with strong offensive weapons and a solid defense.

He expressed optimism that this will be a great season for Clemson.

The Tigers are returning a significant amount of talent this season, ranking No. 1 in terms of returning production and being the only team that brings back more than 80% of their production. According to ESPN's Bill Connelly, Clemson is among the teams most likely to improve by 2025.

Connelly described Dabo Swinney's Tigers as exciting and mentioned that the defense returns 13 out of 18 players who logged over 200 snaps. Additionally, they are adding star pass rusher Will Heldt from Purdue.

After maintaining a ranking of sixth or better in SP+ for six consecutive seasons from 2015 to 2020, Clemson has averaged a ranking of only 18.5 in the years since. This season has the potential to be their highest-upside team in five years.

Clemson will kick off the season with a challenging home game against the LSU Tigers on Aug. 30.
