Roman Anthony has become one of the best players on Team USA in the World Baseball Classic, and Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz cannot say enough good things about him.

Against the semifinal game against the Dominican Republic, Anthony clubbed a go-ahead home run off Gregory Soto in the fourth inning. It ended up being the decisive run, and Team USA punched its ticket to the championship game. After the game, Anthony joined Ortiz on FOX Sports' postgame show.

“Some guys was asking me about you as a player, and I told them that you are the complete package," Ortiz said after the game while speaking to Anthony. "You are a great athlete, good listener, your worth ethic is at another level.”

Anthony had a great rookie season and even signed an extension with the Red Sox. He slashed .292/.396/.463 in 71 games before an injury ended his season. He is healthy again and it is showing at the World Baseball Classic. He is tied for the team lead in home runs with two now.

The Red Sox have a good one on their hands, and Ortiz knows it.

"That kid is a student of the game," Ortiz said. "We are so proud to have him in our organization, because he does nothing but get better and better and better.”

Anthony still has not even played a full season of big league baseball. However, he is showing he can perform in big moments, and it seems like the sky is the limit for him. Anthony even earned the first "My Dawg" t-shirt from Ortiz in the postgame show.
