DD was one of my favorite cardinals. Nolen kind of reminds me of him in body type. DD was a character though and loved his fire - happy to see DD high on this kid

I should have known that Walter Nolen would be the pick. About a month ago, my grandniece had a baby boy and she named him Nolen. We had no idea where the name came from as no one on either the father or mother's side had that name. It was an omen.

Still remember a play against SF where the RB was cutting back against the grain and Dockett was coming the other way and just decleated him. It was awesome. Hope the 2025 Cards defense brings the nasty a lot this year.

I always liked Dockett. Fitzgerald, Dansby and Dockett were the first 3 players that the Cards took in the 2004 draft by HC Denny Green. That was really special.

Sadly he was on a big downward slide, but he was a great value for the Cards.

Just wish Dock had sacked Big Ben in the Super Bowl when he had him cornered late in the fourth on that last drive. He had him, just couldn't bring him down deep in the backfield. We win that game on that play.

It kinda haunts me. Probably haunts Dock too.
