The Cincinnati Bengals' need for a 3-tech defensive tackle could bring them to the land on the spot in the first round of the NFL draft.
Could Ole Miss' Walter Nolen be a possibility for the Bengals at No. 17?
The Bengals have been looking for stability on the interior defensive line for a good while. Nolen would come in and give the Bengals a disruptive player who can be a force in the backfield. Nolen had 14 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks last season for the Rebels.

The Bengals need a running mate for B.J. Hill, who did just sign a three-year deal in free agency. The explosive Nolen would give interior offensive linemen fits and consistently find his way in the backfield. In a division where the Bengals see Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry twice a year, that impact would be extremely beneficial for Cincinnati.
The Bengals could opt to address the edge with their first pick, rather than the interior, and eye someone like Tennessee's Omarr Norman-Lott or Texas A&M's Shemar Turner in the second round. There's always the chance they trade out of the pick as well.
The Bengals can use help all across the defensive line. Edge and defensive tackle seem to be the most popular positions mocked to the team in the first round. Nolen would fit the bill at the 3-tech and would be a very solid choice at 17 for the Bengals.
