As unathletic and incapable of rebounding or blocking shots as he is, I would be thrilled with Gallo at this point, but there is no way he turns down double the money elsewhere to come here for the MLE.

I am fearing more and more that it is, indeed, Carmelo, which would turn this franchise into an even bigger joke.

Carmelo was a Leon Rose client along with Book and Paul... We know Sarver was swindled by an agent (Babby) in the past.

I looked at the rest of the Rose/CAA clients and I don't see a lot of options from that pool of players.

Carmelo is the worst defensive player in the NBA, and he isn't much of a scorer or rebounder anymore, either.

And he is a distraction and horrible locker room guy. A likely cancer with respect to the likes of Booker, Ayton, Bridges and Cam.

We are actually better off with a G-Leaguer than with Carmelo...

He's that guy that scores 30 on a night when everyone else is off. He's great to have around in the regular season. Maybe not so much much in the play offs.
