Craig Loston - So what's the final verdict, is he a Cardinal?

He's a Jaguar. This was all the agents doing. The agent agreed to a deal with Jax and then tried to screw them over by going to the Cards.

Reading between the lines, he agreed to terms with the Jags then the agent received a better (in one way or another, years, dollars, opportunity) offer shortly thereafter and tried to wiggle out of the deal but was not allowed.

This reminds me of the Lindros trade about 20 years ago.

I have a stupid observation and I do not mean for it to be sarcastic in the least Cbus, but unless monies where exchanged or even if they where but then returned... does he have to honor a contract if another is better. Does not the signature or the exchange of finances finalize the deal or rather the agent protecting himself or herself in the end that they go back on deals

I would think your thinking is correct but it sounds some agents are playing their own games this year.

I don't know the exact details and I was speculating.

I asked about the Loston deal and if he was a Card or Jag. I received a text saying he was a Jag but it was the agents doing and he tried to screw the Jags.

UDFA is a mess this year. I suspect it's because there are a lot of very good players that went undrafted and there is a lot of competition for their services. Jax thought they had a deal with LB Christian Jones and he ended up with Chicago. So they have been on both ends of it.
