I have no desire to see a modern day version of the Roadrunner/Coyote in any shape or form. They will butcher it down to, as Cheese mentioned to be a possibility, meh to the nth degree.

I will see it.

Because I have a 10-year-old son. But I was a fan of Road Runner & Coyote cartoons when I was a kid. Formulaic to the nth degree, but at least it produced one of my favorite video games when I was 15.
