The Dallas Cowboys, you could argue, still have major questions at a couple of positions on defense.
One being linebacker, the other at edge, and it is here where the franchise tried, twice, to get Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
But as we know, it didn't eventuate, and now it appears that Maxx is staying a Raider.
However, our own Mike Fisher has repeatedly stated that he would pick up the phone and try ot lure Maxx to Dallas, and he isn't alone in that thought.
If the Raiders were willing to deal Crosby before, surely they will be willing to do it again. Of course, the price has changed dramatically.

No longer are the two firsts and a possible player the asking price, but a first-round pick in exchange for Crosby? Ok, I'm interested.
But speaking on 105.3 The Fan, former Cowboys scout Bryan Broaddus upped the ante, stating he would offer a first round pick and George Pickens to get Maxx through the doors of The Star.
"I would offer a one and Pickens to the Raiders," Broaddus said. "I think, to me, I know Pickens was incredible last year, but the one thing that is holding you back is this defense. You add him [Crosby] to this defense."
Goodness me that is giving up a lot.

And let me preface this by stating that Broaddus is no mug. He knows what he's talking about. He knows more about the NFL and everything that it entails than me.
But far out that is a big price to pay for an edge rusher coming off a surgery, not to mention what the loss of Pickens could do the offense.
Now, would Crosby be a hit in Dallas? Of course he would. Having him along the defensive line with Quinnen Williams, and Kenny Clark is a tantalizing thought.
However, I feel that losing Pickens and having CeeDee Lamb and then Ryan Flournoy would cripple the offense. Yes, Flo is an up-and-coming receiver, but to do a No. 2? He isn't there yet.
Pickens and a first-round pick, if I'm Dallas, that's too rich for me, especially considering what losing George would do to the offense. You are robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Yes, the defense would be improved, but the offense would be worse.
Would it be worth it? Broaddus thinks so. Me? I can't move a first and Pickens for Maxx.
