Maxx Crosby Landing Spots: 3 Teams That Could Trade for the Raiders’ 5-Time Pro Bowler As Training Camps Approach
Back in March, the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens agreed to a deal to send Maxx Crosby to Baltimore in exchange for two first-round draft picks. However, after a failed physical due to a serious knee issue, the AFC North franchise backed out of the deal entirely.
Several months later, Crosby is still a Raider, but the possibility of a trade remains. Here are three teams that could pursue the superstar pass rusher as training camp approaches.
Teams That Could Trade for Maxx Crosby
Chicago Bears
Leading up to the initial deal, which ultimately fell through, no team was more often linked to Crosby than the Bears. Chicago took a massive step forward last season under first-year head coach Ben Johnson, winning 11 games and finishing atop the NFC North.
Their offense was electric down the stretch, thanks to major contributions from Caleb Williams, D’Andre Swift, DJ Moore, and rookie pass-catchers Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III. Unfortunately, they lacked that same level of firepower on defense, which proved very costly at times last season.
The Bears’ current pass-rushing group features Montez Sweat, Dayo Odeyingbo, and Austin Booker, while Gervon Dexter Sr. and Grady Jarrett operate on the interior. They also added defensive tackle Neville Gallimore this offseason.
Still, they appear one key piece away. Crosby could be their answer, transforming a middling front four into potentially one of the league’s better units.

Philadelphia Eagles
Over the past year or so, the Eagles were revealed to have made a push to acquire reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett before he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams. They also reportedly pursued three-time first-team All-Pro Micah Parsons before he was dealt to the Green Bay Packers last offseason.
Although the Eagles haven’t publicly shown interest in Crosby, that certainly doesn’t mean they didn’t attempt to pursue him back in the spring, and again now, with training camp approaching. Overall, their willingness to engage in trade conversations for some of the NFL’s top pass rushers strongly suggests they could make a move for the five-time Pro Bowler.
Philadelphia already has one of the league’s defenses. Thanks to Jalen Carter, Zack Baun, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and several other key contributors, the group ranked 9th in the NFL in 2025, according to PFN’s Defensive Impact Metric.
Adding a proven superstar in Crosby would make this unit even more dominant, as the Eagles aim to return to Super Bowl contention in 2026.

Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys can never be ruled out when it comes to adding a superstar via trade. At last year’s trade deadline, the team acquired four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and veteran linebacker Logan Wilson. More recently, during the offseason, they landed edge rusher Rashan Gary from the Packers.
Despite sending their 2027 first-round pick for Williams, Dallas still has a fair amount of draft capital that could be used in a deal for Crosby, thanks to last offseason’s Micah Parsons trade. Owner Jerry Jones may choose to package Green Bay’s first-round pick with either a 2028 first-rounder or an early day-two selection in an effort to acquire Crosby from Las Vegas.
Between Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens, the Cowboys already have one of the NFL’s most dangerous offenses. Adding Crosby to a defense led by Williams, Kenny Clark, DaRon Bland, and rookie Caleb Downs would make the unit even more complete.
A move for Crosby would immediately make Dallas one of the favorites in the NFC next season and could mark one of Jones’ final blockbuster moves as Cowboys owner.
