CHICAGO — Alabama basketball guard Aden Holloway will be traveling while the Crimson Tide is competing in the Sweet 16.
According to court documents obtained by The Tuscaloosa News, on the morning of Friday, March 27, Holloway was granted permission to travel out of state after having made a request to do so the night prior.
Alabama coach Nate Oats has not made any comment about Holloway's travel plans, or his destination.

In line with Oats' most recent statement on the junior's status with the team − which indicated a suspension amid trials with the University Office of Student Conduct and the legal system − Holloway was listed as out on the availability report ahead of the game against No. 1 seed Michigan.
"Yeah, we love Biz. Our prayers are with him, and that's our brother for life. I think we've prepared the same way we've prepared all season," Houston Mallette said while previewing Michigan. "We've had, like I said earlier, a bunch of different starting lineups, a bunch of guys in and out of the rotation."
Holloway was arrested on Monday, March 16 for first degree possession of marijuana and failure to affix a tax stamp and bonded out for $5,000 on the same day. In a search of his residence, West Alabama Narcotics Task Force agents found 2.1 pounds of marijuana, paraphernalia, packaging materials and $400 of U.S. currency.
"Guys have stepped up in his absence, like Taylor Bol Bowen is playing some of his best basketball. Jalil, the way he's been practicing, you guys will see, he's been really good. Noah Williamson, he's having a phenomenal tournament. Guys have stepped up left and right," Mallette continued.
On Tuesday, April 14, Holloway will have his preliminary hearing in the Tuscaloosa District Court.
