The LSU Tigers football season is inching closer, now down to double digits on the countdown clock. Kickoff against the Clemson Tigers is now just 34 days away.
As we continue to look back at the history of the Bayou Bandits to celebrate and prepare heading into the first game, there is also the matter of getting to know the current-day players.
Here is a look at the past and present of No. 34 at LSU:
Dossett is a fantastic athlete. That is the first thing that must be known about him. He spent two seasons with the Baylor Bears before coming to Baton Rouge, but didn't see the field much. That was the plan, though, as this was always going to be his development path.
The redshirt sophomore played both sides of the football in high school. More of a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, but it was enough to earn him three-star status as a player. It was more about figuring out how he'd find the field.
Dossett joined the Bears as a safety as a freshman, but switched to wide receiver before the end of the year. That's what he played last year, logging one catch for 11 yards against the Samford Bulldogs.
There are a lot of moving pieces, so it's not clear, but Dossett probably won't see the field much next year outside of special teams. The potential that Corey Raymond sees is not hard to look for, but it hasn't come to fruition to this point. Could be a fun player to watch as he develops.
Tigers fans actually got pretty used to seeing No. 34 roll out over the past few years as Ramos played a lot of football for LSU. He is the Tigers' career points leader with 409. While he didn't have the biggest leg, LSU knew what they could get out of him and he was ultra-reliable on extra points.
The Baltimore native went a whopping 77-for-77 in 2023, the second-most for a single season. He was never the best kicker in the country, but he was as reliable as a college kicker can be. This past year was his final season, which means a change is coming for the Tigers. It does not appear that Ramos will continue is playing days into a professional career.

K Damian Ramos (2021-2025)
