Before Saturday’s game against the Texas Rangers, Astros 3B Carlos Correa met with the media and discussed his recovery from a torn ankle tendon suffered during batting practice on May 5.

Correa was on the field doing drills before the game, and manager Joe Espada said Correa was healing “faster than expected”.

When asked if he could return this season, Correa replied, “I wouldn’t be doing all this work if I didn’t think there was a chance.”
